I would like to add awning switches and slide switches so I can control from inside with the originals or from outside with switches added in the basement. Any advice?
I also put in wall switches and dimmers on everything. The absolute most ridiculous one was the hall light switch on the panel by the entry door. On a 340 the hallway is on the drivers side so the light switch was a million miles away and a tiny little switch. I put a wall switch in the hallway near the stairs. Imagine that something that makes sense 🤔I am looking to do this eventually. I have already upgraded to wall switches and dimmers on my valor. I wish alliance would have put rear side awning on switch in garage. Can't see awning go out with slides out. Only thing to keep in mind with external slide controls, you need to verify there are no obstructions inside before moving slides.
Our 310 RL has dual control on the awnings, main panel and basement switches. I find it very convenient.I am gonna start with just the awnings outside….
Yea...having the hallway switch on the main panel in a 340RL is just dumb. I went with a wireless option and can now turn them on/off from the stairs by bathroom and in the master bedroomI also put in wall switches and dimmers on everything. More details please.
Works nicely. I can’t believe the range
Maybe i missed it ....it has been one of those days for me. Perfect! Thanks. Did you opt for the 10amp or 30a?
I went with the 30 cause the awnings are in a 15 amp fuse. One side note you have to use the magnetic “wall switch” that comes in the kit as the RF module works differently. If you wire in the stock switch you will blow a fuseMaybe i missed it ....it has been one of those days for me. Perfect! Thanks. Did you opt for the 10amp or 30a?

I think this one would allow the use of the factory switches. Perhaps a better idea?Just ordered, can hardly wait.
