Thanks Bryan. Very helpful. I am going to assume the Battery Monitor was calibrated. I would like to clean up the wires but not sure. All three battery positive terminals wire directly to the positive post on the wall. Same with the negative. Can I just go battery + to battery + then into the main + terminal? Nice short 12" wires.
JHC, I am not an electrical engineer, and would caution against any modifications without a full understanding of the installed system.
I would offer that your idea could likely be done, however the first thing that comes to mind would be you would need to increase your cable size at a minimum.
Currently your amperage is converging via individual wires at the post stud. In my mind you would need to upsize your cable due to the proposed single path to the stud.
Their are many more qualified forum members that have completed projects like this. They would be better position to share their actual experience.
Take a look at Jim’s (O.C.) picture above and you will notice much heavier “single path” routing.( guessing4/0 by the looks of things.)
