Not sure if you need to be concerned, as it will work. I just think that is VERY lazy wire managment and could easily be resovled with only a few more $$ by Alliance.
What I can't see it where your negative cable goes. Assuming they are sent to a shunt?
I have my 3x batteries wired togethe with 4/0 cable. Off last battery it is sent to Lynx distributor. You don't need lynx setup...a simple busbar
would work just as well.

Sure isn’t sexy looking ! However, look at the bright side, there appears to be plenty of slack, should you ever need to rewire or recrimp a bad connection.
You certain have the opportunity to clean it up a bit, would even loose a 1lb or 2 off the rig if you did.
This seems to be very common, ours is a rats nest as well.

So it is my understand that you should have a shunt installed in the system as standard equipment.
I believe your system comes with a Battery Monitor as standard equipment, apologies if I am telling you something you all ready know but the shunt would be in the heavy negative wires returning to the batteries and it is able to measure current draw and convert that value to an output to feed the monitor for you to see.

Thanks Bryan. Very helpful. I am going to assume the Battery Monitor was calibrated. I would like to clean up the wires but not sure. All three battery positive terminals wire directly to the positive post on the wall. Same with the negative. Can I just go battery + to battery + then into the main + terminal? Nice short 12" wires.

JHC, I am not an electrical engineer, and would caution against any modifications without a full understanding of the installed system.
I would offer that your idea could likely be done, however the first thing that comes to mind would be you would need to increase your cable size at a minimum.
Currently your amperage is converging via individual wires at the post stud. In my mind you would need to upsize your cable due to the proposed single path to the stud.
Their are many more qualified forum members that have completed projects like this. They would be better position to share their actual experience.
Take a look at Jim’s (O.C.) picture above and you will notice much heavier “single path” routing.( guessing4/0 by the looks of things.)
Agree the wires need to be 4/0. Would like to visit with someone to go over my system and get a better understanding with the intent of cleaning it up and modifying/upgrading. One of my plans is to add a second MPPT (Victron 75/15 MPPT controller) suggested by Jim so I can use a couple of portable panels as back up to the roof panels.
I have a 2025 Avenue 32RLS on order with the Super Solar Package. After seeing your picture along with others, I have already been looking at a clean up option. During my investigating, I came across this video that would confirm that the way Alliance is setting it up is the most logical option.
