3 season patio door?

Anybody else complain about these patio doors besides me?
Hi. I am very frustrated with the doors - ours keep popping screws out during travel. They are extremely hard to slide open but I think its really due to the Lippert design more than anything.

I see what you mean about the glass panes being installed backwards, but I suspect that is down to two things:
1) If the upper pane was on the outside, you wouldn't be able to raise or lower it from inside the trailer - the bottom pane would be in the way of holding the release tabs as you move the upper one.
2) Lippert makes these as a "universal" part, and most decks are not designed to be deployed/down when raining, being water "resistant" at best.
I will post here again if I manage to figure out how to improve ours. I don't want to do without them because we use them a lot.

Mine are still crap and I fight to get them opened all the time. I believe it's just an Installation alignment issue but beside removing them and screwing new holes in the frame there's not much that can be done.

My observations as well, but they could have been designed with latches at top of one of the panes. Would be required to be more robust with weight of window hanging from them though. As far as 3 season, what season do they think it doesn't rain? Patios that can't get wet? What a concept. RV industry as a whole, hasn't changed much. All pretty much crap.

I have to constantly instruct wife and others how to open because they suck. I lubed the tracks and seals which helps but as typical, just another crap lippert product.

I'm half tempted to just remove mine. (They're almost falling off anyways as the keeper at the top hinge has been missing on one side and the screw is broke off on the other side from day 1)

We use our to haul motocross bikes and at the race jist have to keep the rear door closed aways to keep the dust of of my sons bed and off the table and couches. All mine pretty much donis get in the way. Had I know all the issues we would've had with our unit I'd have opted for the much cheaper heartland toy hauler with the pull down bug screen.

I agree with you 100%. The day the dealer called accepting my offer, i had stopped and looked at a 22 of a different brand for $$$$'s less..i should have opted for it. Kick myself every trip out. Always a new thing to fix. I think i'll scrap mine eventially as well. A $20 garage screen from menards would work better.
