TruTow wdh spring bar size choice advice please

26 chevy 2500hd crewcab standard bed gasser, pulling a 252rl. I have a weigh safe medium with the 8500lb bars. Based on tongue weight I'm thinking I need to "spring" for the 1200lb bars. I am not at all sold either way. One seems to small, one too much. Any experience to share?

I think you meant 850# bars in which case yes you need to step up to 1200# bars.

I have the 2024 version of the same truck and pull a 321bh. I had a ton of sway with my trailer so ended up switching to the Hensley Arrow - which helped. I am careful with loading / tongue weight, etc.
