Tow vehicle for Paradigm 310?

I would like to ask all Paradigm owners of what their thoughts were on towing a Paradigm 310RL with a 2022 GMC 2500HD Denali. The GMC tow #’s are as follows:
Max Pin Weight 2490lbs
Max Tow Weight 16690lbs
Cargo capacity 3300lbs

Reason I asked, salesman had my wife talked into a Paradigm 310 and he swore up and down I could tow it no problem… I told him I was very leery of that and felt more comfortable with a 1800-1900 pin weight and GVWR of trailer at 12-13K..
Any thoughts? Thanks

See signature below for my equipment. IMHO a 2500 is not enough truck to pull a Paradigm. I probably should have bought a DRW 3500. 🤷🏼‍♂️ You will undoubtedly get comments like "I pull with a 2500 just fine" but my opinion is it's not enough..
FWIW — The pin weight of my 310RL loaded is 3,180 and I have removed a lot of stuff from the front storage and pass through bays.
My rear axle is 240 pounds overweight but under the tire load rating. I do have a rather heavy hitch and weighed with a full 40gal aux tank.
The weight of our 310RL is 14,460 with only about 20 gallons of fresh water. I am well under GCWR so putting more water behind the axle will actually help lower the pin weight.

I think you probably could tow it, but probably not the best idea. You'd probably be pushing the payload capacities. Of course people tow some huge trailers with 3/4 ton trucks that have no business towing them. I have the 3500 DRW truck and it's super stable and no issues. I unfortunately don't have the weights yet (had an issue at the scales when I went). It's definitely an amazing rig though. Not sure if you'd be interested in upgrading the truck. I remember the Irene Iron Travels youtube channel had a 3/4 ton truck with the 29MK paradigm and it was overweight, so those trucks are probably a little too undersized for them.

Mine is 3300lbs, I just don’t feel safe pulling something so heavy with a 3/4 ton truck🥴

Thanks for your insights, I totally agree. I don’t know why sales people make up stories to sell a trailer putting our safety at risk🥲

I am looking at the same trailer. My TV is a 2024 Ram 3500 SRW, payload of 4251. Just had the truck weighed:
- Steer - 5220#
- Drive - 3260#
- Gross - 8480#
Add in the hitch at 150# and my available payload is 3670#.

Do you have a generator in front? I see you removed gear from the front storage and pass through.

So if your loaded pin weight is at 3180#, I am encouraged my truck can handle the 310RL.

I do not have a generator and the stuff I removed from the front totaled about 200#. I moved it to a UWS brand aluminum tool box on the 310's trailer hitch which probably unloaded the pin >300#. The Demco Autoslide hitch I use is around 450# and the 40 gal aux tank is pretty heavy too. Without that aux tank I'd be back in range but I still think a DRW truck would be a better tow vehicle for me, we just couldn't stand sight-seeing and parking in a DRW.
There are some that tow a Paradigm with a short bed and a conventional hitch but I did not feel comfortable in sharp turns. If you have a long bed and use a conventional hitch that will help with weight as well. Remember that Paradigms are 8' wide and with no concave features on the nose.
Unhitched and fully fueled up, hitch and only a driver my Ram is 5,300 Steer + 4,200 Drive.
