I'm in the process of researching a tonneau for our Ford 250. If you would please let me know what you have also what you like and dislike.

Thank you

Bak Flip G4. Solid cover. Easy to fully remove if need be.
Covers hitch and keeps bed relatively dry.

BakFlip MX4. Has worked great for 3 years. Folds back while hooked up and covers bed solidly when disconnected.

One problem I discovered with the solid folding covers, if you install a Morryde pin box it extends further forward on the hitch and may hit the cover. I have a SB truck and this forced me to go to a different cover.

Mine has 4 folding panels and it gives plenty of space between the pin box and the folded panels. I have a short bed as well. I have seen 3 panel versions that would be tighter.

For what it's worth I went with a friends advice and bought a really cheap Yitamotor vinyl roll up for less than $200 as I didn't know what I wanted and am really amazed at the fit and quality. Amazon for less than $200 to fit on a 2022 Chevy crew cab. 7AC Mike

I have had several different bed covers. The best one is the one I have now RetraxOne sold by Real Truck.

If you’re looking for a folding hard cover I’d consider Leer HF650M, a flush mount 4-panel folding cover. When towing, the 3 panels can lay flat on the fourth panel, retaining your site out the back window. You can also flip all panels up to the back window to allow access to the whole bed. I currently have a 5-year old Fold-a-Cover and love it, but they’re out of business.

I have the ONE (not the PRO) also. 2 years. Very happy so far.

I had a Lomax trifold on my F150 and now my Ram 3500 (w/Ramboxes!). The texture exactly matches spray in liner texture, sits flush, requires no drain tubes, and completely removable with a quick release (no tools, no nuts to thread or risk losing) when you need full bed. I have zero experience with other tonneaus.

I have the Ford retractable hard cover. It is ok for most part. It does leak slightly in back. I had a back flip 4 on previous truck short bed f250 but changed to retractable on my long bed f350. Thought the bigger flip panels would be heavier than short bed to flip up all panels.
