Brand new 390MP and my toilet won’t hold water. Any suggestions?

Here is what I do when this happens - Put water in the bowl and then tear off the corner of a piece of toilet paper and put it in the water. The TP will be sucked to the area of the seal where the water is running out. Turn the water off to the toilet. I then put on a pair of rubber gloves and check the seal in this location to confirm that it is seated properly. Then reaching under the seal I make sure that there is nothing stuck to the bottom of the seal. Finally I will put some Sil Glyde Silicone Lube on the under side of the seal......Hope this helps!
