I just finished servicing the Cre 3000 suspension and wheel bearings on my ‘22 32RLS.
This was the first time using the EZ-Lube system, and I was actually suprised how well it worked. I do like being able to fully inspect bearing and brakes by manually repacking the bearings, so I likely won’t use it every year.
The Cre 3000 was a mess, which I did have a gut feeling it would be. Of the 14 wet bolts, I had 5 that would not take grease and required disassembly and cleaning. I had one leaf spring that had the leaf retaining clip (?) dislocated. I was able to move it back into place, but I will likely try to find a replacement because I don’t think this will remain in place.
Overall, this was the deepest dive that I’ve done on this trailers running gear. I’m glad I did because it provides a little price of mind. Now I’m off to replace the broken microwave and finish converting the dinette into a dog Crete/seating area. Can’t wait to get on the road for a few NP trips this year.
