Hi, not up on solar in Rv. I just purchased a use 2022 Alliance Valor 37V13 with solar & one battery came with. Question I noticed on top of refrigerator must be previous owner has a everstart 1000 watt inverter on top of it with refrigerator plugged into it?? First why would it be? Why wouldn’t he have just left refrigerator plugged in back of it in wall?

Hello, so remember that an inverter takes 12 volt DC and inverts it to 120AC. So, this is a way to keep the refrigerator running as you travel down the road. This set up is necessary with a 120v refrigerator. Otherwise, the wall outlet wouldn’t be live going down the road unless you had a genset running all of the time.(or an upgraded solar system and that outlet wired to it.)
Our 310RL came with a 12 volt refrigerator, so it is powered from the 12 volt system directly.

This is strange. If you have a frig that requires 120v to run, then Alliance would have installed a small inverter, powering ONLY the frig. If you have a 12v frig, then I am guess the prior owner put the small inverter on top of the frig to power the ice maker. Make and model of the frig would help solve this riddle.
