Anybody add slide toppers on a 40V13? Are they prepped for them? Will a topper fit over curbside slide under awnings without issue?

From what I see, road side is good for toppers, curb side will rub on main awning. That side, I am going to just see if extending awning just beyond slide will work. Witnessed a phaeton motorhome that utilized this method.
