Like a car going over a speed bump with both front tires at the same time vs going over the bump diagonally.

That’s odd. I had a slide ski fail and it wrinkled and wrapped it up like nothing. My last camper and something got behind the slide out and it ripped of the trim piece pretty quick. Not sure a seal would slow it down. That’s is odd.

Does your slide outs measure the same on both sides (left and right side both are same distance from the camper)?

No it's not centered. I just created another post about it and will address that next.
