Slide noise

The living room and kitchen slide both squeal when you start to move them in or out. Does anyone else have this same issue? Do I need to worry about it?

I'm going to post this in the hydraulics thread as well.
thanks

All of my units that have had hydraulic slides squealed. Normal.

This is my first post/ question. My 2021 310RL slides( kitchen and dinning room) started squealing about 2 months ago. It
is really loud when extending. It does not seem to be machinal, more like rubber against a hard surface. Does anyone know
the cause / cure ? Thanks, Tim

Hello and welcome from a fellow 310RL Owner.
I would highly doubt that the noise you describe is coming from any rubber dragging against a surface.
From experience, I would think that the source of the noise is from the slide arm’s extending and retracting.
I had a loud squeal at the very start of the retraction process on our kitchen slide and traced it to the extension arm rubbing slightly against the outer channel.
I cured it by applying a “Dry Lube” to top and side surfaces of the slides extension arm. I also lube the slide gear mechanism and bushings on a regular basis.
I realize that the manufacturer cautions against lubing the mechanism, but for me applying the proper lube in a reasonable amount far out ways the risk of dirt building up and a un lubricated metal to metal sliding joint.
It could also be possible that that slide needs to be adjusted a little to improve the glide path as the arms extend and retract inside their outer channel
