Sink leaking

Does anyone know what to call this connection. The hot water side to my faucet has a very small leak, sometimes, it will go days without a drop. I have removed the fitting from the faucet and reconnected it hoping that would fix it but if it doesn’t I don’t know what to ask for as far as the fitting is concerned. The first pic is sink connection. The 2nd is what I’m asking about. 2023 Paradigm 295MK. The shutoff does stop the leak.

John do you know where on the fitting the leak is, around the threads or the pex clamp? If it leaks around the threads some teflon tape may help. If you have to replace the fitting SharkBite makes a push on fitting that will eliminate the need for the clamp.

Thanks for the info. I have everything to cut the PEX and re-cinch the connection. This is a very interesting leak. Since I removed the connection and reinstalled it it hasn’t leaked. It looks like the leak is coming from the screw on section on the PEX side. If it starts leaking again I will try some teflon tape. That way if it stops I’ll know that it is leaking from the threads not a bad PEX crimp.
