Safety Recall on Avenue

Anyone else receive a recall due to miscalculation of Unloaded Vehicle Weight Tag? Would have been nice if they had included the weigh so we would now if it applied saving a trip to the dealer. Anyone know the change?

I don't own an avenue but I looked at the recall and I think I posted it somewhere on here. Alliance weighed the rig with a jack, or jacks, down so the rig's sticker reflects an inaccurate weight leading to an overloaded trailer. If I recall, they are just mailing another sticker. You can go to a dealer to have the sticker installed, alternatively.

Read the recall which was about the same as the letter received, thank you M and E. Called the number on the letter for Alliance only to be told by the person I talked to she had no knowledge of the recall also to send a email. SKYSKIOC the recall does not seem to include the 2024 only the 2025 models.
