As an aside, though I am not pleased at all with our Ring cameras, they give a whopping veteran’s and first responder discount. Always 25% sometimes more. I am thinking about their new gen 4k cameras here at home. Just one at first though!Water - Govee is the best we could find.
Camera - We use a Ring camera (not the exterior door one), without the month subscription. The subcription allows you to go back in time to see recordings. Without, you can view live camera and it will alert you if motion is detected. Battery life is just under "forever". Seriously...I think I have charged it 2x times in a year.

I’m sure you are aware but you can suspend the Starlink Mini when not in use for $5.00 per month while on pause for up to 12 months. You may be full time and need it all the time.I haven't thought about this much as we don't have pets. I'm not sure what you mean by "how to install" but I'll offer my $0.02 worth 🙃...
A ring doorbell is usually installed outside as a doorbell — we have one at home. There are wired (ours) and wireless models. If you want to monitor inside the RV then there are indoor cameras from Ring, Blink, and others.
Any camera you buy will of course need WiFi to be able to monitor it. It will be a PITA to rely on campground WiFi if you are moving often so you'll need your own cellular modem/router or Starlink. We love our Starlink but at $165/mo it ain't exactly budget friendly. We also have an AT&T SIM card in the Winegard Gateway that's only about $20/mo on our cellphone plan.
There are various temperature sensors you can get but they too need WiFi. I use Govee products. Look at their leak detection sensors too.
I believe Alliance has stopped using the Winegard rooftop dome antenna so the Winegard Gateway won't work for you. I don't know what modem/router works with the new rooftop antenna they're using. The Gateway is temperamental, at best, anyway.
Yeah, used to be free. Works for Starlink Standard equipment too. At least for the $5/mo you still get service but only <0.5Mbps. Just enough for updates and sensor data but not enough for monitoring a camera.I’m sure you are aware but you can suspend the Starlink Mini when not in use for $5.00 per month while on pause for up to 12 months.
I’m just hooking mine up soon. I appreciate the advice.Yeah, used to be free. Works for Starlink Standard equipment too. At least for the $5/mo you still get service but only <0.5Mbps. Just enough for updates and sensor data but not enough for monitoring a camera.
Another thing about the billing is that it's prorated. For example: My billing cycle starts again March 16th. If I go back to Roam mode on March 10 I'd only owe for about 6 days of the $165/mo charge (about $38). You pre-pay for Starlink.
Changing back to Standby is not effective until your current billing cycle ends. So if I changed back to Standby on March 17 I'd still have full service until April 16.
I figure you already know all that so just putting it out there for others.
