RESOLVED: Furnace fan blows but heat is not being produced

In our brand-new Alliance 40V13 we have been running the heater with just the "electric" switch flipped in the main control board and not "gas." My question is when we run the heater with just electric and not gas is it still using propane? and if the electric is an electric element that creates the heat then what would cause the heat to suddenly cut out? going to check the propane tanks after work today.

Thank you,
S Gomez

The gas electric switch’s on the control panel are for the water heater. If only the electric is on the water heater won’t use propane. I’m assuming by heater you’re talking about the furnace. That requires propane to produce heat.
