I have done lots of research on Renewable Diesel, which has none of the issues people were having with Bio-diesel. Chemically it is the same as regular diesel, but it burns with less soot and even has a little more power (I noticed the engine was a little smoother). Looks like only 76 and Arco are carrying it in CA. Even my Diesel repair shop was not aware that Renewable Diesel is different than Bio-diesel. The fact that there is less soot will help out the DEF systems too! Anybody been using Renewable Diesel on a long term basis? Any feedback?
