Pressure relief valve stays open 262rb

Took delivery of a new 262 two days ago. Started putting things together today. The water pressure is set at 45 lbs (new guage). Water comes pouring out of the pressure valve overflow hose. I shut the water off, spun the valve release knob a few times, then turned the water on very slowly. It still comes out of the relief tube. The dealership claims the RV was winterized. So is there a process I should be undertaking, am I missing something? Thanks for any thoughts. I can't get to the dealership until Monday so I thought I'd reach out to the brain trust.

Mtfalcon, sorry your experiencing this leak.
Not sure what type of pressure valve that you have, but you stated you spun it a couple of times.
In the what it is worth department, have you tried flipping the lever if it has one?
The style I have is like the one you find on a home water heater. It has a lever on top the you flip over to bleed water off or to help vent.
I flip ours up when I am draining the water heater and keep it open when hooking up and bleeding the water heater heater of air at hook up. Once water exits the valve, I just flip the lever open and it seals itself shut.
If it leaks when the valve lever is in the shut position, it feels like a replacement is in order to resolve your leak.

Thanks Bryan. This model of Furion on demand water heater does not have the traditional lever actuary pressure relief valve. It is actually a red knob on the back of the unit. The lever style out front would certainly be easier to access :)

If you didn’t get a manual with the HWH, they’re online - maybe this one will help?

I have a Paradigm with a standard 12-gallon heater so I don’t know exactly what you have in yours.
Thanks. I have the Furrion on demand unit. It turned out to be an issue with the order of dewinterizing. Sounds weird, but I started over, relieved the pressure relief valve, opened all faucets and let water run, then closed them one at a time. Seems to have been the issue. Thankfully :)
