Onboard Generator vibration

Hello all, I have a 2024 paradigm 380 mp trailer. I had a 5500i rvmp generator installed. Questions, has anyone else have RVMP gen? Also I am getting vibration thru the frame all the way back of the camper. Sitting on couch I can feel vibration. Talked to installer and RVMP directly and they say this is the first time hearing this as same as RVMP. The generator is mounted directly to the metal without any absorbers. RVMP tells me that putting on absorbers may void warranty, as there will be a gap on the discharge area which may get sucked into the intake.

So I have couple idea's on how to mitigate this but want to get the community take if they had a similar problem and what was the remedy. thx

Is there any chance that any of the six mounting bolts are too long and are going completely thru the housing and contacting the internal assembly and preventing it from isolating the engine vibration.
Internally the rotating assemblies would have a system to isolate their vibration from the case. Has this system been inspected?

Hmmm, I just looked at the front bolts and they did not seem too long, but did not check the rear. I will take a closer look at them all. thx

I beefed up the bottom of the compartment with angle iron welded to frame along with absorbers which helped but still have some vibration inside coach. Next I am going to remove generator, and line the whole compartment with "Hushmat" high temperature, vibration and noise canceling material. Will update this forum on results.

Have you checked the exhaust system routing and mounting? It should not be touching the frame of the Rv and should be hung using isolating hangers.
Think about your issue from a “path” prospective. Vibration would start at the rotating assemblies, travel thru the internal isolation system where it should be reduced drastically and or eliminated. Anything left over would either have to travel thru the external case or the mounting bolts that are in contact with the rv frame. The other path would be via the exhaust system mounting. Another path could be some sort of rigid electrical conduit that is solid mounted to the frame.
Good luck with your investigation.

Update: I removed the generator and lined the inside compartment with "Hush Mat" material. Reinstalled the generator. It has definately improved but did not completely get rid of vibration, but it is faint and livable. It definately reduced the noise of the generator. Conclusion: I am satisfied with the outcome. thx
