Norcold N20 fridge replacement.

Own a 2024 310RL with a Norcold 19 cu ft 12 volt fridge.
Apparently the freezer compressor isn’t working and can’t be replaced.
Very expensive 2 year old fridge to have to be replaced.
No help from dealer, alliance or Norcold.
Has anyone found a cheaper, easier solution than buying another poor quality Norcold 12 volt?
It would be easiest to simply bolt another one in but don’t trust their reliability.
We have the standard factory solar panel and 2 batteries.

We have the same unit in our 24 310. Have had lots of problems too. The problem with getting another unit is the dimensions. Alliance frames around size of fridge so it is difficult to find one that fits the exact space. It is 5000 for another norcold unit. We had to replace control board on ours.

There are 120v fridges that are close to the dimensions. I'm not sure your overall RO but take a look at some of the counter depth 17-20 cuft. options. LG makes one that is 29 3/4" wide. Just get a 1000w inverter and one of those.

I would definitely contact JC Refrigeration. The owner is great to work with. He will ask you to make a few measurements. You can purchase a 12 volt version or a 110 volt.

Wanted to add one of their more reliable 12 volt conversion kits but they don’t make one….
