No Hot Water using Electric Heater

Hi fellow Alliance Owners,

We are about 4 months into full-timing with our 390MP. Given we've been mainly at campgrounds, we've been using the Electric Water heater. Which has been flawless until recently. There is no hot water flowing through to our faucets.

I've checked the fuses and breaker box. As well as the 'reset' buttons on the water heater itself.

Any suggestions or insight?

Had the same issue, there's a relay on side of the water heater and one of the 12V control wires came loose from the WACO lever nut

Could you post the model number of your water heater? I posted a service manual in the Facebook "Alliance RV issues and fixes" group "Files" folder. If you could post the model number it would help.

While on a different RV, this video might help you understand how to test your water heater for possible failures.

I checked my water heater and found that it was not plugged in to the outlet right above it. Needless to say it was a simple fix.

Any chance you took a picture? Might help the next person that could have same issue/problem. Glad it all worked out

I had the same issue.

I had the same issue.

I think I would cut the plug off the cord and hardwire the water heater, using a junction box.

For us, turned off Water Heater, had to crawl into the Bay, behind the water heater and re-plug the Water Heater into the outlet. It’s a tough reach but did the trick for us.
