New Alliance Owners - Some Questions for You

We just picked up our new 2026 Paradigm 310RL and are wondering if our experience was typical or different than what other new Alliance owners have experienced. Can I bother you folks with a few questions?

Did the inside of the refrigerator still have all the original protective tape and styrofoam?

Did the TV's still have the protective film on the screen?

Were the TV remote's batteries installed in the remote or still in "new" packaging?

Were the TV remotes in the new "owners bag" or in the drawers near the TVs?

Were the marketing stickers still on the counter surfaces, refrigerator, shower door, toilet seat etc.?

Did the propane tanks have propane in them or were they empty.

Regarding the questions pertaining to TV film and marketing stickers, if they were present did the dealer remove them as part of the pick up and demonstration process?

Any other comments are appreciated. Thanks!

Congratulations and welcome to the forum!

We have a 2024 310 RL and love it.
Regarding your questions,
YES TO ALL, except the dealer removing any of them. Propane was full.

We had to do all of the sticker removal, in speaking with others, I believe this is standard practice.

I actually didn’t mind, as it was a great opportunity to clean and inspect things as stickers were pulled.

Hope you enjoy your new rig.

Thanks to everyone for the responses. Our purchase was somewhat unique hence my curiosity regarding other experiences. We "purchased" the RV at the Florida RV show. The dealer representing Alliance did not have a dealer in our home state. They did have a dealer in a neighboring state but that location was not an Alliance authorized dealer. So what they did was find a unit at an authorized dealer and had that dealer do the PDI (Pre-delivery Inspection) then they had the unit transported to the non-authorized dealer that was near us where we picked up the unit after a walk through. All the "packaging materials" had been removed when we did our walk through. The propane tanks were full. Paranoia got the best of us and we started wondering if the unit had been a "floor model" vs "new". After further inspection we have come to the conclusion that the unit appears to be "new". I'm chalking this up to just a case of first time buyers paranoia. Unfortunately, we haven't had an opportunity to test the water system yet but will as soon as weather permits. Thanks again for the responses.

If it makes you feel any better, my unit was a dealer demo. Alliance took my unit to dealers and dealers shows as a display model. I had no problem buying the unit as a used unit.
The unit came with a 6 month warranty.(Of course I never used the warranty).
Couple of kinks but nothing major. Lots of stickers and packaging to remove.
Well maybe no screws connecting the back wall to the floor was a big kink!
In the end its been a good unit.
I guess the big difference is I knew the history of my rig up front vs. wandering if the unit may have been a demo model. I also was able to take the savings on used vs. new.

Congratulation on your purchase!
I will caution that while these forums are an extremely powerful and useful tool, you need to weight the comments against your actual experience.
Do not get caught up in the, if someone reports a problem that you will experience the same problem .

Personally, I monitored this forum for several weeks before actually joining . It lead me to questioning our decision several times to actually purchase ANY RV and engaging in the hobby.

Now entering our 3rd season, our journey hasn’t been problem free, but the enjoyment of our trips has far out weighted the Paranoia and actual issues that we have experienced with our coach.

I can honestly say, we have no regrets with our decision and are happy that we chose Alliance as our OEM!

Fridge was ready to go except some minor pieces of tape to hold drawers. It was prepped and plugged to show it can cool/freeze.
Most (all?) interior marketing stickers were removed just before our walk through.
No TV film that I remember.
Both propane tanks were full.
One remote was in a drawer, the other was missing and my dealer was not helpful. Cheap from Amazon though.
The dealer was non-responsive about a missing sink drain plug as well. Alliance came to the rescue for us in any case.

Alliance service has been 95% helpful with problems. We've never had to take it back to the dealer. THIS FORUM has been indispensable for MANY issues.
I'll add my recommendation to remove any exterior stickers before the sun dries 'em out. I've got a few on the awning arms I didn't remove and now the printing is gone but a white brittle sticker remains. I haven't tried Goo Gone yet.
