I can't find much information on the Morryde 12v air compressor, I recently retired and planning our first long trip, If I need to add air to F350 dually truck tires (80psi) will the morryde 12v air compressor be able to top off tires? On trailer tires I use DeWalt air compressor.

Attached is a link to a Morryde 12v compressor. If this is the model your referring to, it looks to be rated at 125 psi.

Forgive the unsolicited recommendation, but take a look at Viair compressors. Not a fan of endorsing things but I can find zero faults with the model I have. It’s a beast. Worth every penny. Sorry for diverting from the MorRyde topic!
Another vote fro Viaair. I have used mine 4-5 times and it is a champ!

I have vi air and Milwaukee 18 v air inflator. Milwaukee has no problem topping off 110 psi on out paradigm. Have not used vi air yet. Carry it in truck and Milwaukee with camper. Have not used on my dually because I have not needed to. I had purchased it specially for my dually because of attachments that came with it.

Another vote for the Viair. It's very quiet compared to other pumps I've used and been around.
It's a 100% duty cycle pump. The MORryde and DeWalt may be also. 🤷🏼♂️

Out of curiosity why are you considering the MORryde if you already have the DeWalt? Do you just want a permanent install?

I use the onboard 12v MorRyde to top off the trailer tires to 110psi, and used to for the dually but now I carry a pancake style as well for nail guns and stuff and that is easier to bring over to the truck sometimes. I have a particular hatred of coiling up air hoses so limiting how much hose I unravel is a goal of mine.
I planned to install a regulator on the stock poly line so I could run nailers and staplers off the onboard but haven't gotten around to it since I bought the pancake style last time we were at the house. Will probably leave it in storage this coming year to shed the weight though.

A little late but thanks everyone for responding. I also use the DeWalt battery inflator for trailer tires, it works great but doesn't work for truck tires, or I haven't found a way to do so. I have a Viair i keep in toolbox on my Polaris RZR I will need to check model number to verify PSI rating. I've had the truck for 13 years and flash back to my Navy days cussing at inner tire. Although this time when I took truck in for tire rotation the guy seemed to know how to properly position air valve. I learned the hard way to check BEFORE leaving tire store, the day of a trip I checked air pressure and found one air valve between the openings and no way to access it.
7 months into retirement and loving it, should have done it a year earlier.
The big trip begins Sunday (March first) for a 5-week trip starting in SoCal to Houston and Dallas to visit family with a lot of stops along the way. I'm keeping travel days between 180 and 240 miles, we are doing a loop starting on I-10 to and 40 back home. Adding 3 new states to our map New Mexico, Texas and Oklahoma. I'm excited and nervous I've been RVing for a long time but first trip more than 10 days.

Congrats on your first long trip. We are currently 1.5 months into a 4.5 month trip, which is by far the longest we've ever been out in one trip.

Wow, that is a long one! We’ve never been gone longer than a month. What is your itinerary?
Basically Oregon...Neveda...Arizona...Texas...then shoot up to Indiana for repair at mothership. Kinda work our way back to Margaritaville in Texas in early April. From there, we have no plans. We will figure it out based on weather. Come back through Utah or Nevada and try to avoid California

Wow! I guess I am just cheap. $347 for an air compressor? I have a GreenWorks battery operated with battery charger and I don't remember but it was waaaay less than that and has never given me a problem. That $347 will buy a lot of Jack so sit by the fire with.
