I was doing some work on my factory installed inverter setup the other day. When I started to unscrew the DC wires I found that they were little more than finger tight. Given the amount of current these inverters can draw, this could cause the inverter to not work right or be a potential safety issue.
If you haven't gone through every connection you can find (AC and DC) and snugged them up, you should. Same thing applies to household breakers, but people rarely do.
