We stumbled across this gem a few years ago and have returned a number of times. It's located between downtown Charleston, SC and Folly Beach.
Not all sites are full hook up. They book one year in advance. Wi-Fi is terrible. T-Mobile cell service is fine.
They have a great dog park (with a lake).
We've always gone in November (which books early) because they feature a large Christmas light display for local residents.
Reservations can be made here (pro tip: stay away from sites that end in "d" such as 018d and 019d as they are "double sites" and very close to each other) :
