my new 262rb has the thermostat placed three feet from the heat duct outlet with the strongest air flow. perhaps not the best idea, because that leaves the bathroom several degrees colder than the kitchen. i compound this problem by blocking another outlet hidden in the hole ostensibly put there as shoe storage. the upside, though, is i get really warm shoes. the downside is the toilet seat is rreealll cold. has anyone got a solution for this? i wonder if the bathroom duplex outlet can handle a 1200 watt thermostatically-controlled space heater. i don't like that simple but effective solution, because of the fire risk. thanks in advance.
