Happy jack height misalignment - how do I adjust?

We have a misalignment in height of the two benches on the Happy jack systems by a bit less than about 1 inch. So also, when folded down into a bed, the cushion edges are at slightly different heights, and for the leg supports underneath, one set touches the floor and the set on the other bench does not. The jacks stops moving when one of the "stop" switches signal the right height for floor contact. The other is still up in the air. How does one align the heights of each side of the happy jack system?
