Welcome to the forum, you can use a small digital water flow meter to track how much goes in.

Additionally, the fresh water tanks are equipped with an overflow pipe, so water would exit this pipe when the tank get full. It is normally located very near your large fresh water tank drain valve.

Your tank will definitely be full when the overflow flows water (Ask me how I know?)
