Forward storage lights won't turn off

Is there a dedicated circuit for the motion lights in the forward storage area (basement) of the 23ml? The lights won't turn off and I want to turn off the circuit until I can look at it but not sure what else will be affected. Thank you

The motion lights in our Paradigm have a switch on each one with 3 settings: I (on), O (off), and II (motion). Do yours have a switch like that?
(Sorry I didn't answer your question directly. I don't know which of the light zones those lights would be part of.)

Hi Travel Time, I have those same lights and had the same problem with the motion lights on my 385 FL. Any time the battery switch was on so were the lights. I contacted Alliance service and they sent me the wiring diagram. Turns out my motion lights were wired incorrectly from the factory. Alliance will need the last 6 digits of your VIN in order to send you the wiring diagram. If you are under warranty and it’s not too inconvenient you can have the Dealer correct under warranty. Hope this helps.

Thank you for your reply. I had brought the unit in for warranty items about a month ago and the dealership stated that it goes off after about 10 to 20 minutes after the slam hatch is closed. They were WRONG. We are on a year long trip and I'm just going to replace the sensors with two 3 way switches something Alliance should have done in the first place. Motion sensors in a compartment that houses items that are constantly moving is not a good idea anyway. I was looking at a temporary fix until I got to a major city but I will be okay to wait. Thanks......

A motion light sensor reacts to infrared heat (warm blooded critters) moving across its field of view. Therefore items moving around in transit will not activate it. Unless you're boon-docking and trying squeeze every minute out of your battery(s) I wouldn't worry about it being on since an LED sips so little power.
That said, I agree that motion lights are not needed in the pass through. I have mine off and turn them on only if needed. If I'm out at night I probably have a flashlight with me anyway.

So I just bought a 2025 Avenue 332RL today and found this same problem with my storage lights. They would run for 50 seconds then off foe 3 then back on for 50. Rinse and repeat. I went to the fuses to pull the one that operated it and when I did, nothing happened. So I started pulling and replacing fuses one by one. I got 3 down to the one marked for the awning lights, and the storage light went out. I also noticed that the fuse seamed crooked. I figured out that when installing the fuse, someone kind of mased the fuse in too hard and pushed one of the contacts over into a screw that was holding the circuit bord down causing some kind of short. (See the burn mark in the picture) I straightened it up and the storage light works correctly no. I however do not have any docking lights on the front of my camper which is supposed to be on that same fuse line. Will continue to investigate to try and resolve.
