Ford Propower Onboard adapter

Hi all,
My F150 Powerboost has the 7.2 kw onboard generator. Looks like I would need an adapter. I don’t have much knowledge on electrical ratings. I would be going from AC240/30A to an adapter to a surge protector that is 30A 125V 3750w 12,000J. From there it would be a 25’ 30 amp cord to my Delta Solo BH181. Pictures attached show what I’m working with.

Is this an unsafe plan?

The truck puts out 30A split phase, 🤔 interesting.
I can't offer any advice but am looking forward to hearing opinions on solutions.

Did the truck come with a cord for that plug?

The output relies on two independent 120V "legs" (often labeled A and B), each providing 30 amps:
  • Combined (240V): Delivers up to 7,200W for heavy-duty equipment like Level 2 EV chargers or large power tools.
  • Separately (120V): Each leg can deliver up to 3,600W

Dang I bought something similar but it was forty bucks. I hooked it all up and I’m running my AC without flipping breakers. The main thing I was concerned about was going from 240 volts to 120 volts.

Ahh. I see. I misinterpreted the post. Though it is 240V (2 120V legs) like @George said it is split phase. The adapters are only taking one of the 120V legs and powering the RV. The second leg is unused (I think....fact check it).
