Electric/LP Water Heater left on

Is it okay to leave the electric water heater on constantly?
We have an Avenue 36 BRM and leave the water heater (electric portion only) switched on constantly when we’re hooked up to shore power.
Just wondering if that is okay or if it can cause long term damage?
I feel like when we did our walk through they said it was meant to be left on but can’t remember.
And the internet seems to be divided on this one..

Sure...it is temp controlled, so it will turn itself on/off as needed. However it appears to still be "on" via the control panel switch.

As mentioned leave it powered on. It has a thermostat to control when it is actually heating water.
It works just like your water heater at home!
