corroded toggle

Spent the recent noreaster camped on the Outer Banks. The winds drove the salt spray into the campground and the storage door toggles ending up being corroded, see attached.
Suggestions on how to clean and protect would be appreciated.

Also, the furnace door rusted, see attached. I assume that Rustoleum's High Heat BBQ paint would be appropriate to recoat.

May be easier to get new cover for furnace on amazon. May have to replace toggles too. Salt is bad.

I would agree, time spent trying to clean repair and repaint the cover and clean the latches might not be worth the effort.
Would be easier and quicker just to consider replacements.

I would rinse the camper down heavy duty! Pressure wash the ac units and any place salt can build.
then wax the unit. Salt air will destroy one of these rigs. IMHO 🎩
