I'm guessing you had a cheap version done by dealer? To have it done by a company like Bob Moses, it would be around $4,500 and you would most certainly see a difference. We had ceramic coating added at the dealership on our 2024 310rl. Were upgrading to a 312rk we didn't think it was worth it. Maybe have a professional do it this time. Any thoughts?
Absolutely true. I did it myself though. Right prep, right product, great and long lasting results. It’s time intensive but not hard work.I'm guessing you had a cheap version done by dealer? My god did the dealer rip us off. Lesson learned.I'm guessing you had a cheap version done by dealer? It was my experience that the dealership was trying extremely hard to sell me their overpriced version of ceramic protection. Several thousand dollars as I recall. We asked the dealer there application process they said it takes 4 to 5 hours. When I started asking questions on the actual process, they basically indicated that is a “water hose spray on process “
At that point I declined, knowing that an owner could complete the same process for @ 400.00 for a kit.(+-)
Unfortunately friends of ours took them up on their offer and paid the money to the dealership to complete the process. They were furious when they picked up the coach and found that all of the advertising stickers were left in place during the process .
Moral of the story is ask question about the process and what it entails.
When folks are asking 4000.00 dollars, it absolutely should include a full wash, full paint correction, and hand application of a superior product, to ensure full coverage.
To many times folks just assume what they are investing in and are disappointed down the road.
Sorry if you actually got ripped off.
