The passthrough is HUGE in the 340. We decided on having the slideout tray installed...and I LOVE LOVE LOVE it.

Here is the video I did during the install at the National Rally last year.

I have been debating whether to put in slides on mine. My wife has me carrying a rather large quantity of dog fence, I call our "gated community". If I take the time to see how far I can push my wall back of the 370FB, maybe I will do that. I also have a large 3 burner camp chef 90 cooking system, that would really be nice to slide out to load and unload.

GET IT!!! You will not regret it. One of the best things I've added so far.

I know this is an old thread. Jim, I want to move our basement wall in our 340 and my question is if the this wall is load bearing? Is it holding up the shower wall above it? Your video on the slide convinced me that I need one too! Thanks

Nope..it is just there for the wall. Unscrew the metal frame and tap it over. I used a rubber mallet to get it perfectly lined up.

I reconfigured the basement walls of my Avenue 32RLS. There was a ton of room that was being wasted. I then installed a slide drawer and mounted a black stone into the end. I’m looking for a small 12V fridge to install in the newly opened space. It’s turned the basement storage into a bigger and better organized space and I have a “redneck outdoor kitchen” now. I don’t have a drop frame, so the vertical space isn’t perfect, but we make it work.

Good luck with you efforts, looks great so far!
