After my 200Ah batteries were totally discharged after several weeks in storage, I found the 12v refrigerator is wired directly to the batteries and not on the 12V battery disconnect side. Even though the refrigerator was "off", there was still enough current drain to discharge the batteries. On all my other RV trailers, everything including the brake safety switch were on the 12v switched side.
Anyone know why Alliance put the refrigerator on the battery directly vs on the switched side?
