We've been shopping for a 2026 Avenue 26rd and just found out that Alliance no longer offers that particular floor plan. The rear dinette with large windows was the appeal. I'm wondering what Alliance will replace it with for the model year 2027 and if the 2027 Avenue line will have Curt TCS?

This is really sad news.
My wife and I are getting ready to retire and wanted to buy a 2027 26RD mainly because of the large rear and side facing windows.
We've had other 5th's and always wanted one with that feature.
An "RV Insider" at the last Florida show said they heard Alliance was going to put back the campground facing rear window they removed in 2025 when they moved the pantry to the "wrong side" to make room for a larger couch and the outdoor cooktop.
So much for what those insiders know....sounds like the 26RD is not even going to make the cut in 2027.
My thought is Alliance probably lost a lot of 26RD sales after 2025 because people liked the big windows and being able to sit at the kitchen table and see what's going on in their campsite rather than buying a 2025/2026 version and staring at the side of the pantry or watching the people next to them empty their tanks. This was why we picked the 26RD over the Delta 252RL TT - the pantry on the 252RL is on the wrong side blocking the best view in an otherwise near perfect couples RV.
It really makes me wonder if the people that design these floorplans have ever actually stayed at a real campground or if they just sit at a desk and design them from there.
... but then again, what do I know - I'm no RV insider.
I'm just someone that wants to buy a new under 30 foot "State Park compatible" RV and now has only the 2027 GD 260RD left to consider.

As a follow-up, we visited our local Alliance Dealership here in Boise yesterday and they said the 26RD will be available in 2027 but unfortunately will still have the "View Blocker" pantry on campsite side.This is really sad news.

The one big plus for 2027 is it has a 12 cubic foot refrigerator in place is the 2026's smaller 10.
We asked them to look into having the pantry moved to hookup side and a window added on campsite side - they said it will not be worth the cost but they will get a quote from an RV Restoration shop in Salt Lake that might be willing to do it.
We *really* want to buy an Alliance and not a Grand Design, so if the cost to move the pantry and put a window where it belongs isn't astronomical, we will do it.
