I am outfitting our new Paradigm for our first trip & want to add tie downs to the basement to keep our cargo from bouncing & shifting. I’d like to add anchors to the four corners of the basement to allow an X pattern for the straps or maybe 6 with 2 in the middle as well. Our other trailer has anchors that require only one hole which I want to do with the new trailer as well. My question is can I use self tapping screws thru the floor of the basement? That would make it easy but I’m not sure what material I’ll be drilling thru on the basement floor. Seems very hard so I’m thinking it’s steel. Please give me your thoughts. Thanks!
