Hi All,
After reading Corncobs install thread, I wanted to copy him. However, my 2024 32RLS was wired slightly different. Main comment was I did not have to crawl under the bathroom area in the pipes and wires.

- I tracked my shore power cord not visible from that crawl space, but in the base of the pantry in the kitchen.
- I removed the two finish trim left and right pieces with an auto upholstery flat tool, carefully got into the front edge of the plywood base and popped it up. Yes, the finish nails may pop thru but are covered by those initial trim pieces.
- Viola, there was a nice 12" hole sawzalled into that compartment with the 6/3 wire nicely coiled in a circle that went from shore power to panel.
- After opening the 50 amp breaker in the panel to ensure no backfeed from battery, testing the shore power L1, L2, Neutral, and ground for deadness, I cut the 6/3 in half.
- Use a utility knife to cut back about 4" of black plastic, remove about 5/8" of each conductor insulation (more than the Watchdog gage says so it fits into the holes). Straighten them out and place them in order of insertion as shown on the Watchdog. Make sure the lengths are identical, and trim if need with cable cutter.
- Each end of the Watchdog has an IN and an OUT. Shore power goes IN and the panel goes OUT. Carefully insert the nicely twisted round conductors into the holes (after you have backed out the screws fully) and screw down very tightly to hold the conductors. Give a tug and ensure they are in firmly. Then do the other side. Insert rubber safety inserts.
- Put the Watchdog back down that hole, taking care to keep a nice bend on the 6/3 wire. screw down the Watchdog to the floor with included screws. I only did on screw per strap as if the circuit board needs replacing from a surge, you have less to remove and it is not going anywhere. Use the included cable straps to hold the 6/3 in place also, not having too tight of turns.
- Go apply shore power and you should see a white Watchdog light up. Turn on the panel 50 amp breaker.
- Vacuum all the garbage they left during construction
- insert the bottom pantry panel back in. Yes, you have to bend and twist a little, but you should have removed any remaining nails already. then insert the two edge trim pieces. I did not use any more nails and will probably put a little wood screw to make it easier to grab and remove next time.
- Download the phone app and connect to your new Watchdog. You can see the power usage, volts, amps, proper wire job at a campground, etc.
