310RL Electrical Question

Hi, new member with a new 310RL. Just found out that the Bathroom GFCI is inoperative & won't test, the bedroom outlet on same wall is inop, the storage outlet (GFCI protected) below the TV side is inop and bedroom TV has no power. Am I correctly assuming that these outlets are on the same circuit and the probable cause is a bad GFCI outlet in the bathroom? What is also interesting is that on pre delivery inspection, it was discovered that the GFCI outlet on the kitchen island was bad and the dealer replaced it. So I sense a trend. Any insights or helpful thoughts appreciated.
Thanks much!

Congratulation’s and welcome to the forum.
I wish I could be more definitive and tell you exactly what outlets are tied together but I can’t. Honestly , I am not sure any two units are even wired alike 🤣.
If you haven’t already, I would offer the following.
1. Check your main breaker panel to see if any breakers have tripped.
2. Check for any other GFI’s that might be tripped. Perhaps the outside outlet on the Dinning room slide or maybe above the Nautilus Panel
3. Maybe one in the basement storage on the back wall.

It would be odd to have numerous GFI’s go bad in the same rig so quickly.
I would be checking for loose connections thru out the rig, starting at the 50 amp shore power connection, the breaker panel and each outlet. Basically, if you see a connection check it to be sure it is tight.
This small investment in time, will pay dividends down the road in reliability

Sorry your having issue with your new rig. Please keep us posted on what you find.

Bryan is right. On our 385FL, each GFI receptacle has its own breaker in the panel. If the breaker is not tripped, you will have to check downstream of the GFI. Our bathroom GFI covers the bedroom, bath and some exterior receptacles.
Good luck,

My Gfi went bad in my bathroom and it knocked out all the nightstands power, bathroom power and my TV?
only thing that still had power up top was my washer dryer electric outlet.
popped a new rv gfi in and it all came back to life?

you got one of these for my 295MK Paradigm?

thanks in advance!
Sorry, no. I must have caught someone at Alliance on a good day 😉. I appreciate whoever it was sharing this. I cropped the drawing, hi-lighted the circuits and corrected a couple of labeling errors.
I
highly encourage anyone running short of power to utilize the dishwasher outlet (if unused) on the floor under the island. That's a single outlet 15 amp circuit that is great for our space heater. It is not GFI so install your own when extending it.

I use washer circuit, dryer circuit, and dishwasher circuit for portable space heaters.
I supplement furnace as much as possible

Just an update folks. It turns out that the GFCI in the bathroom of my 310RL was incorrectly wired leading to all the downstream issues. The WHITE wire from the hot/line was put in the LOAD location and the WHITE wire from the load side was put in the LINE location. PMI should have caught it and I should have tested the outlets before delivery. I DID replace the GFCI outlet with one that has a green indicator when power is on as that is more practical. Anyway, everything is now fixed downstream (4 outlets and the bedroom TV). George's schematic was very helpful!!

Bob,
Congratulations on tracking down and resolving your issue. Great work!

Nothing to add here but thank you for that schematic! I am saving that and putting it in the rig for future reference if needed.
