We have a 2024 310rl now that Alliance has come out with the 312rk we feel it addresses most of the issues we had with the 310rl and are seriously considering purchasing a 312rk. Any thoughts on a 312rk

Can’t comment on the 312RK, as I have never seen one in person(only video).
However out of complete curiosity, would you be willing to share your dislikes of the 310 RL ?

I really like ours now here comes the but. The closet door fell off numerous times. The glass on our shower came apart from the brackets. Some electrical issues. It really bounces going down the road. The valves for the water leaked a few times. The 312rk has addressed these issues and from what i see they addressed them on the new 310rl also

Thanks for sharing, I thought you might have been referring to layout//floor plan issue. Didn’t realize you were talking mechanical issues.

"It really bounces going down the road": I would also seek opinions about rear kitchen models if you're concerned about the bouncing due to road conditions.

I’ve owned a rear kitchen in the past. It’s not a floor plan I’d want again. It was far too difficult to keep items contained in the cabinets let alone the refer.

My $.02,,,,,for your consideration,,,Am certain other members will offer their valuable input as well. Good luck w your decision,,,
We have had 2 RK’s different mfgr. #01 - 35’ venture Sporttrek touring 336VRK tow behind,,,,had no issues. #02 is our Paradigm 382 VRK,,,we live in it full time in a stationary scenario, & snowbird w a smaller non rear kitchen towable, so travel iimpacts are not a major concern in our instance.
However, a thread in, I believe the Paradigm forum, ? On rear kitchens in early Dec 2025, has good information & discussions you want to read . In my opinion, The points in the Paradigm discussion, from knowledgeable members, are valuable information for your consideration if you tow a lot,,,it is a fact that loads behind the rear wheels & on the back definitely have potential for problems if not addressed via engineering proven by use in real life.. enjoy your adventure, & travel safe,,,Enjoy 👍🌞🍀!

We looked at the 312RK (an early production unit we were told) at the Tampa show and ultimately preferred the 310RL to it. While it has some pluses over the 310RL, the rear kitchen bounce concern, the lack of clearance between the counter and the refrigerator when the slide is in and the need to move one section of the L shaped couch when pulling in the slide (and then moving it back out later) did not resonate with us. Also Iwe found that one of the drawers cannot be fully opened because it bangs into the oven handle, although this might just be a "unit one" oversight that will be corrected soon. This is something I have seen before with other Alliance units.

I like the couch in the back floorplans. We removed our couch and put in a wall to wall desk for my wife and I. I worked from the RV when we traveled prior to retiring in 2024, so this setup was perfect. We have left the desk in and now I sit there watching the world go by. Don't think I'd want to give up the view out the back to have a rear kitchen. But that is why Alliance makes many floorplans. Different strokes for different folks. :)

Here is my view right now....

Beautiful. I just absolutely love those big windows in the Alliances and Grand Designs.

I am currently negotiating doing the same with the back wall of my 370FB.... My pitch is this...using a Vizio Sit stand desk, so an inflatable mattress can slide under there, if we have a visitor...unlikely. I have used these to make desks for myself and the wife at home...they are excellent. You can buy them with a desk top, but I made my own, because we use 3 large monitors in our setups at home. I got the "L" configuration going on with the wife's setup. You can also adjust the width, before you make your top. I also put casters on my setup in the garage. 1770947559911.png
