310 RL Battery Life and Storing procedure

I have a 2025 Alliance Paradigm 310RL. I am confused as to how to store the unit to preserve battery life. When we first bought it and stored it, we turned the solar and battery off when we parked it in our covered storage. When we went back the battery was dead.

When we parked it the next time, we left the solar on but turned the battery off in our covered storage and when we came back a couple weeks later, the battery was dead.

I am trying to determine the best way to store it and it seems it might be to just remove the cables from the battery but they arent near as accesible being behind a door and in a battery box. Any help is appreciated.

Also, we just got it in march and have not tried dry camping in it. Does anybody have any idea how long the solar will support the trailer off grid with just the fridge running

1 - You will need to add a true battery disconnect switch to easily cut all power. I am guessing your 12v frig was still pulling power, when you were in storage...unless you used the power button on frig to turn it off. Frig will pull about 7 amps per hour, while running. They cycle on and off during the day, but I estimate they use about 75-85 amp hours per day.

2 - Not sure how much solar you have, but a typically if the panels have direct line of sight to the sky (and summer time) you will see about 5 amps of charge per hour from a 100 watt panel. There are many factors that can make this vary, but 5 is a safe number for each 100 watts of solar
