Kind of looking at a 2026 F350 to tow my 2025 Avenue 32RLS.
Dealer said that he thought that all F350's come with a 8' bed. Is that correct?

Mine has a 6 1/2 ft bed and not sure I want anything any longer. The F250 sticks out far enough in the parking lot space!!

Find a new dealer, the one you have now doesn’t even know what they are selling!
No, all F-350s DO NOT come with 8’ beds. They are available with both the short bed, like your F-250 and the long (8’) beds, as well as the 8’ bed with dual rear wheels. If you tow extended distances that little bit of extra length pays off with the larger 48 gallon fuel tank.

@Flyer32RLS I would look on the Ford website and start a build to see if you can select bed size. It might depend on cab size and whether it's DRW but from what I see 6 ¾' or 8' is available in any configuration. Short bed F350

We tow ours with a 2025 F-350 6.7 HO. Ours is the 6'9" short bed with the 34 gallon fuel tank. Does great with our 32-RLS. Our payload is 4047 lbs.
We came from a 22 F-250 gas, Big difference going to the F-350.

Not sure I can see a big difference. Payload increase was 900# and total GVWR went from 10800 to 12400. That was big but rear AGWR went from 6340 to 7230. 890# could be gib if you are sitting on the edge. But my my 2022 F250 + $20K for F350 ain't goig to happen.
Mine pulls and rides great. I will leave well enough alone. Don't need to fork out another $20K +.

Just retired from a Ford dealership as an internet sales rep and I ordered a
LOT of truck for customers as well as myself. :)

I still have access to most of those online tools and would be happy to assist you in configuring a truck. Obviously with no skin in the game, I will give you my honest opinions and would be able to email you a sheet to take to a local dealer for them to replicate your configuration. (I will not get into pricing other than the "retail" pricing as I am not in that loop anymore....)

Send me a message through the forum and I'll try to get with you by phone to work it out.

To answer the original question, an F-350 dually is only available in 8' bed. SRW F-350 can be either 6'8" or 8' bed and the cab configuration does not matter on Super Duty's

drsweger,
OMG! Thanks for the offer. As much as I would like to upgrade my F250, I really can't find anything wrong with it. zi've keep up all the maintenance and baby her. It is just the $20K + that I am having trouble with. IT tows great, gets good MPG, looks great (Pearl white with black out edition). I might later on but right now my heart wants a new truck but my head no. For once, I'm going with my head.... for now.
Thanks again for the offer, That is truely amazing of you to offer. I hope to meet somewhere on the road.
BTW, where do you call home? We are just on the East edge of Ft Worth.
Happy Glamping!!

My sales manager will keep me on the system as long as I keep completing my required training.... We'll see how long it will take for me to say enough....

Home is Newnan, GA. Worked at Mike Fitzpatrick Ford. Laid back country style dealer, more like Mayberry RFD....

The only real reason to go to an F-350 would be for additional pin weight capability for a goose neck or fifth wheel. No significant advantage in a conventional / bumper pull configuration.

I briefly considered trading my 2022 F350KR for a 2026, and the price increase was just too much for me to swallow, just to get the HUD display....

Oregon Camper.

No sir I don't, dealership employees don't get those, only Ford company employees and retirees...
:( I had a buddy that WAS an engine design engineer at Ford and was able to get me one for my 2022 F-450...saved me a LOT of $$$. He was headhunted by Rolls-Royce to work in their plane engine department, so he is no longer with Ford :(

Honestly, in the current automotive environment, you should be able to beat the Friends and Neighbors discount in a retail deal WITH the exception of additional incentives which may be tied to the X-Plan... ( didn't see those much in the Super Duty line...)
