has anybody figured out how to level out the bed in the sofa sleeper? when you put out the bed, it leans backwards and the bed is completely unlevel and your head goes downward when you're laying on it. we are trying to come up with some sort of solution so we can make the bed usable. we have tried foam toppers cut to different sizes, thicknesses everything but nothing seems to work every time you lay on it. it just feels like you're laying upside down. Don't want to have to modify this thing by unscrewing all the screws and changing up the actual way that the sofa sleeper is built . as you can see from the picture it leans to the back. it is not level . it may need to be lifted about an inch to an inch and a half to bring it up to the same level as the whole bed while opening . any help appreciated

So, a couple of suggestions.
1. Reverse your direction of sleep 🤣
2. Perhaps some spacers under the mounting pads, but that would make it sit unlevel.
3. Fabricate some sort of angled wedge that would result in a level plane that could be attached to the frame work when using it as a bed.

FYI,,,,We use a 2” foam pad over a 1/2 pool noodle at “step”,,,comes pretty close. Store pool noodles behind bottom of sofa backs which helps the back cushions tendency to ”sag” ! Foam pad stores under sofas !
