Hi everyone. Any pointers when installing a 3 way manual transfer switch as part of my solar setup for our 50A 390 what guage wire I should be using on the switch. 10AWG works well but 6AWG does not. Thoughts?

Jim, Now having gotten under my 390, I believe the driven fasteners were used. Take a look at the attached and let me know if you agree. If so, I suspect I'll cut out a section of the Coloplast and not attempt to remove an entire section. Thx again.

Might I suggest that, as you make changes or update parts for new models, you seriously consider issuing a "field assistance bulletin" for existing owners to inform us of the changes. This would go a long way in helping us to know if there are changes we might want to be aware of (e.g., changes...

What kind of hardware secures the Coroplast to the frame, and how do I properly remove? Thx. 390MP (2021)

390MP. I need to know specifically about the red positive that looks to be 10AWG or so that runs with the other wires into the hole pictured. I need to know where these wires run and what loads are connected to that wire.

As another post asks, I also need to know where all of the wires going into this hole in the lower right of the front compartment go. There is one + wire I believe that is responsible for one or more DC loads that goes into that hole along with the AC for the fridge, and some other mystery wires...

I'm more curious what all the other wires are that go into that hole. I'm a 390 owner as well. I intend to take off the panel on the basement side to explore that, as I need to reroute the DC connections.

Those, I believe, are the + and - coming from the solar pre-wire box on the roof.

Bill, any insight into how people are connecting the DC loads originally connected to the lead acid battery when they are placing new batteries in the basement? I was thinking of using + and - bus bars in the front compartment and running wiring between that compartment, across the basement...

It is in fact plastic. Will do.

It's the half inch by say 2-3' trim piece above the right lower window as shown by the arrow.

One of my trim pieces came out, warped and will not repeat between the window glass and the exterior wall. Need some advice for that! Thx. JP
