MorRyde independent suspension disc brake wear?

Looking for some input from other owners concerning disc brake pad wear on a 385FL, like how many (mostly highway) miles they have been getting from a set of brake pads. Picked our unit up new in June ‘24 and made a handful of local-ish (less than 100 mile) trips prior to a long 2 month trip from Philly to California and back, we have logged just under 9,000 miles total on the fiver and 3 of the four brake sets are metal to metal with the fourth being very close also. Tow rig is a ‘24 F-450 with the trailer brake controller set to “5”, so mid-range. The wear we are seeing seems to be excessive, so we are curious what kind of mileage others with similar setups are seeing. Thanks for any and all feedback on this. (y)

Think we have about 8,000-10,000 miles on our 2023 340RL with IS and Disc Brakes. I would say I have well over 50% of the pads remaining. We tow with a 2022 F-450 and I have the brake controller set somewhere in teh 3's. Wondering if 5 is too much? I think I also hear about Dexter having a bad batch of brake pads. You should contact Alliance service team to see if they can help.

I have Drum Breaks and I run them at 2.5 Trailer Gain and they are lasting fine And provide a smooth stoping motion.
If I set my gain on 5 it is way too abrupt a stop 🛑!
I think you may have to much gain if set on 5? Try 3.
