Wet bay storage door

Just picked up our 2022 390MP and have a suggestion/ question for the wet bay storage door. Since the bedroom slide comes out the door only goes halfway up. Its a head banger, is it possible to develop a split door that hinges open out under the bedroom slide and on the wet bay side raise all the way up like the other doors do ? Can Alliance develop a door kit to replace the current one?

Good morning and thank you for the question. We do not have a split side hinged door sourced at this time. Historically we have seen that type of door be more prone to water infiltration. With that said, one thing you could potentially do is relocated the strut mount so the door goes a little higher. If you do this, please make sure that the baggage door doesn't go up so high that the bed slide grabs it when coming in.

Bill, Thank you very much for the quick response. I will get longer struts and adjust the door so they are just below the slide. The current ones wont allow you to move them up since they don't have any room left on the piston to actually close the door.
