USB wattage?

For the Avenue 37MBR, does anyone know the wattage for the USB charging ports by the outdoor griddle? I just ordered a Starlink Mini and I thought about using the USB for power. It draws between 25-40 watts.

Thanx!

USB B ports are not 12v - they are fed from 12v but outputting 5v and low wattage. You won't be able to use the stock Starlink mini cable with a 12v source anyways. There is too much voltage drop in that cable at 12v. Most of us use an up converter with a barrel plug on the end to plug the stock cord right in. I have one that converts the 12v to 30V (which is what the Starlink transformer adapter outputs), some people use 36V without issues.

I suggest accessing the back of that USB outlet you reference to find the 12v source and pull off that to an up converter of your choice. Some people buy the converter and barrel plugs separate, or what I did was buy THIS one that comes with Starlink barrel already on it. Since it sounds like you are mounting it in a panel a cleaner install would be get This Converter and a pack of 5.5mm x 2.1mm barrel plugs like These to flush mount in the panel. This is what Jim (Oregon_Camper) did on his seen in post #4 Here

Hope this helps!
