Detached Hydraulic Ram/Piston

Overlandafterlife

We have a 2023 395DS. We have owned the trailer for less than a week. We got in after the first real tow day and the street side living room slide wouldn't extend. After some inspection, we discovered the hydraulic ram came off it's mount point. We moved the slide manually with a large crescent wrench on the guide bar.
We will probably use a mobile tech for the warranty work once we get to our winter over location next week. I think I can stabilize the piston enough to prevent additional damage to the hydraulic lines.
I can't find much about this happening so let's hope it's a unique event. I'm just glad we made the walk through tech show us how to manually move the slide.

WOW.
OK, I have to ask, how do you manually extend/retract the hydraulic slides?
Hopefully, I will never need to know.
