New beginings for Black and Gray dumps........

When I had my underbelly down in my Delta 262RB, I used tie-wraps to fix the gentle loop of extra manual pull cable to itself, then nearby structure. Have extra cable flopping about makes it harder to actuate the valve from the pull handle as the wire inside the cable sheath is pulling pulled...

Love it. Very nice work. Where did you end up storing the extension hose?

Our maiden voyage and Uh-oh!! (294RK-Delta)

This is not that relevant to the OPs matter, but I'd like to add something I learned about coroplast after 20 years of dealing with it, or at least the coroplast on my Delta. The Coro part of the word stands for corrugated and the plast stands for plastic. As in corrugated cardboard that we're...

Discussion: Alternate methods for re-securing underbelly material

I hear ya on over-thinking projects :) Love to see what it looks like wen done. Angle stock is easier to find, so putting them back to back is understandable. If I do something like this, I really want to try to use RivNuts as I remove my underbelly a nit more often than most people do...

Our maiden voyage and Uh-oh!! (294RK-Delta)

The rivet head you see are actually driven coil nails. If desired, the way to remove them is: 1. Remove the little plastic ring from them (screwdriver) 2 Using a small impact driver with a 1/4” driver / socket, loosen the nail (breaking the friction fit) 3. Using a large flat blade screwdriver...

Can I run 2 ACs on 30 Amp Service

@darrell - With the inverter providing the incremental current, 3 ACs can be run from 30A shore power for some period of time, based on the SOC of the batteries and the low-voltage cut-off point or a user set cut-off point. Alliance uses 13.5 K BTU ACs on all of their brands.

Can I run 2 ACs on 30 Amp Service

Hi Paul - Yes, Victron's Assist feature (on a 3K or higher inverter) will make up the additional current needed at startup. That said, the Easy Start / Soft Start will still make smooth out that LRA at startup and some say they may be helpful to the life of the aircons.

Solar Panel System Installed on my 2024 Delta 262RB

Jim - I'm jealous the you got your Victron XS DC-DC already. My dealer hasn't gotten me one yet. Hope to get it before Goshen. Say - when we're in Goshen, would you mind installing GUI mods on my Cerbo?

Can I run 2 ACs on 30 Amp Service

Yes to the starting procedure. Wait until the compressor on 1 AC has run for a few minutes, then start the second. Note too that you will benefit by adding Easy Starts by MicroAir or similar to both ACs. This slows the current ramp of the AC compressors and allows them to start easier when...

Water pump running but no flow

Good morning. I haven't passed this along just yet. Been raining here in TX so I haven't got to my coach to see is mine is like yours.

Can I run 2 ACs on 30 Amp Service

Most have found that, yes, you should be able to. Just be sure that your water heater is set to Gas and that you are not using any large AC power devices, such as Microwave, Hair Dryer, Coffee Maker, Induction Cooktop etc. - at the same time you are using 2 ACs. When you need to run 2 ACs on...

Kitchen Project: Replace Insignia Range with Cooktop only + a Base Cabinet

Our travel needs are changing. We just don't travel as much. We had 2 seasons use in a previous travel trailer and loved the flexibility it gave us. So time for another one.

Kitchen Project: Replace Insignia Range with Cooktop only + a Base Cabinet

Thanks. I hear you on the oven. Had we kept that RV, our plan was to replace the microwave oven with a Convection Microwave that also had an Air Fry feature.
